Biscayne Bay 9/30/11

Fun fishing late this afternoon had us on permit in slick calm conditions. With mullet saychools being busted around us we had half a dozen shots at finning permit and a shot at a 60lb class tarpon. Unfortunately the permit were being picky and the tarpon had mullet on their minds. Moving to the shoreline we had several strikes and landed a nice 30" snook on artificials. The mullet are here, the fish are feeding and this is a great time to fish Biscayne Bay. Give m lete a call and let's set up a day of drag screaming fun.

Biscayne Bay 9/28/11

Today we targeted trout and snappers out of Key Biscayne for a half day. Using shrimp and artificials we landed numerous trout and snapper on light tackle. It is always fun to fish for trout since it is a laid back style of fun fishing. Give me a call let's set up a trip.

Biscayne Bay 9/21/11

Today I fished with Bill and Sam from N.C for a 3/4 day of bonefish and permit fishing. The bones were moving well and they had shots at a half dozen supersized bones on the oceanside flats. We switched to permit fishing and had a dozen shots at permit in the last hour of our trip. The permits were a nice mix of singles, doubles and schools. Fall is here and the mullet are in the bay attracting all kinds of attention from predators. Give me a call and let's get out there and make that drag scream.
