This past week has been absolutely solid when it comes to fishing and the weather has been great as well. Water temp have been rising and the fish have been really friendly this week. The first three days of this week were mainly charters to catch whatever was biting and it was so much fun. From snappers, to yellow jacks, sharks and more everything has been biting and proving some really good times. I have tarpon fished a bit in the mornings but they have been MIA so the day time tarpon fishing is a bust this season so I'll turn my attention to more productive species and fishing this spring. The balance of the week were spent mainly fishing for bonefish but we missed in some other targets as well. I had Tom and Wyatt for two days and the guys killed it on the first day with seven bonefish. Wow! The following day the bone fishing slowed but we fished the finger channels and they caught yellow jacks and some really nice grouper on bonefish tackle, what a fight! Saturday I had Dan and his friend Michael and we tried for bonefish for about an hour with no success but they caught a bunch of hard fighting ladyfish and sone jacks before heading to the finger channels and having a blast with yellow jacks. I ended the week with two trips on Sunday, my morning was with Mark and his girlfriend Ryan and they had a blast with hot shark fishing on the flats hooking a lemon shark every 15 minutes it seemed and the afternoon trip was with Pat and Peggy who caught a few different species before turning our attention to bonefish and they killed landing four bonefish, losing to and missing a few more bites. Not bad for a really windy, busy boating Sunday on Biscayne Bay. It's been a blast this week! </span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpk-6MkwL8cL9FZ7FE8Ofo1Bme4vQz2Ux3t3rbNzrDJ984ejkCndhMqgLvBxpH_M5w5hKdce8mH2nKa2Ci8l1Of1QOMH0L2jwFPjxbERtARpslCexke_qp3MISd_XoGngC81ZgD0yoffxzlNn4HzQ9FDQHnmz110SVGqVoRNmUSRvjYEgZl2qsQuYdiDQ/s4032/IMG_0337.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpk-6MkwL8cL9FZ7FE8Ofo1Bme4vQz2Ux3t3rbNzrDJ984ejkCndhMqgLvBxpH_M5w5hKdce8mH2nKa2Ci8l1Of1QOMH0L2jwFPjxbERtARpslCexke_qp3MISd_XoGngC81ZgD0yoffxzlNn4HzQ9FDQHnmz110SVGqVoRNmUSRvjYEgZl2qsQuYdiDQ/s320/IMG_0337.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVGwkmqBDQR6redNgPMhZ8iZCv4ChLYsBJ4o_c7VdLXz6pNvgjPm6vpVGWlhyDMmGSDsM6MP-l7SFUPKrWmOhESOLcYHlzh1pmSacAFS3JaBL4dMMMCJuGJnGZxMNWLEY3VAuv657YT9QekZkZ-4awNjXJ-IGF9JHY-Qg3uqxi66O0xccl4_ICy4R0hrw/s4032/IMG_0342.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVGwkmqBDQR6redNgPMhZ8iZCv4ChLYsBJ4o_c7VdLXz6pNvgjPm6vpVGWlhyDMmGSDsM6MP-l7SFUPKrWmOhESOLcYHlzh1pmSacAFS3JaBL4dMMMCJuGJnGZxMNWLEY3VAuv657YT9QekZkZ-4awNjXJ-IGF9JHY-Qg3uqxi66O0xccl4_ICy4R0hrw/s320/IMG_0342.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKlZI2IlT3fyx2dceY0q9SFrpJIBk6s9NgwAmGfSkEm44E8MOfWq4-oDY2-ecrpgd9vLhVBCN0y0v6eauvSUIn5wjnLWKF0B5aNuL3hMWJoLyDvubqeDMC7PZ6a_Vpg3c5fUj66nWg5YJTXoomNUZNaQE5eokYth8WMDvTHyEu9zoqslPLYDYMfcSt5Ew/s4032/IMG_0460.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKlZI2IlT3fyx2dceY0q9SFrpJIBk6s9NgwAmGfSkEm44E8MOfWq4-oDY2-ecrpgd9vLhVBCN0y0v6eauvSUIn5wjnLWKF0B5aNuL3hMWJoLyDvubqeDMC7PZ6a_Vpg3c5fUj66nWg5YJTXoomNUZNaQE5eokYth8WMDvTHyEu9zoqslPLYDYMfcSt5Ew/s320/IMG_0460.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoDkjsdPKFW46ElZSasNUPmmnJgfK2jSVwDwIkQeQCPsAqkIKafu-faxS8EbHSeBTI7s8el4D1sIt2u02bbLkC_cSDgVvLdaZzikjpc1dvvRsRYp31ZBeB9oqXCxlYfIuvcjBas5KMAPLabMnv-6gZ49_S_LwaStkvgBVDaKoPkEOcNiBN1zdxNQiVQEY/s4032/IMG_0299.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoDkjsdPKFW46ElZSasNUPmmnJgfK2jSVwDwIkQeQCPsAqkIKafu-faxS8EbHSeBTI7s8el4D1sIt2u02bbLkC_cSDgVvLdaZzikjpc1dvvRsRYp31ZBeB9oqXCxlYfIuvcjBas5KMAPLabMnv-6gZ49_S_LwaStkvgBVDaKoPkEOcNiBN1zdxNQiVQEY/s320/IMG_0299.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwuV9UcQLOEruiKUg2dm6nSk3Azyze6MU88w5nodtedvFer6wVPprj3QdJWh6wciQ-JnFQZ3YxoGVYhl_KEE1Isup2G8SUmNPet3c-Xp6y5TprpqmBTaI7w5Ju0E-2d6XLzaSISpV85nIyQC3HGRy_75KE-f3Y6k88Sqw2VG7i1J5GvJTQN_w_iOfox48/s4032/IMG_0407.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwuV9UcQLOEruiKUg2dm6nSk3Azyze6MU88w5nodtedvFer6wVPprj3QdJWh6wciQ-JnFQZ3YxoGVYhl_KEE1Isup2G8SUmNPet3c-Xp6y5TprpqmBTaI7w5Ju0E-2d6XLzaSISpV85nIyQC3HGRy_75KE-f3Y6k88Sqw2VG7i1J5GvJTQN_w_iOfox48/s320/IMG_0407.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Capt. We went from a very cold February to now a very warm March. The first week March has not only been warm but the fishing has been solid. I've been working every day these first 10 days and pretty much every day has been solid. The finger channels have been holding a number of snappers and plenty of yellow jacks. These are pretty, hard fighting and tasty fish that are a blast to catch. Bonefishing has been very steady with bones being caught on almost every trip mainly on spinning tackle making it easier on the increasing breeze. The tarpon fishing has been all but dead during the day with very few migratory fish around and a few reports of slow tarpon fishing at night. While this may not be the norm for night time tarpon fishing, it is certainly the feedback I have received from a couple of other guides. But more importantly, this past week has been great for pretty much anything swimming in Biscayne Bay and this coming week should be the same. Here are a few pics from this past week. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDaGvFnf3-ICWYfjDDQB0HiDnTv3a9SJVW93zjSeR7VSuNAxDjPQGwAmJQn8zfRbCgO25uW9nCjug_nQ1OIL4jNF8RV9D3ikx8mxcrIJ8GWB5Die86a9NWCRDkYknR1qHn3cR5RQOcixGm4IwZ0h7iqwX-QbXHRkk_09A4eQzP5rOiD2aGAcPAXQ4mKM4/s4032/IMG_0213.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; This month I had two days off all month and most of it has been fishing in the cold. We have had back to back to back cold fronts and most days this month I have woken up to 45-51 degree mornings. As for the fishing, the fish haven't missed a step and the last week of the month has been solid with a mixed bag of charters and species. About half my trips at month end have been bonefish and the other half have been to catch whatever was biting, thankfully both have been great! fishing oceanside floats for bonefish proved tough at first and then the end of the outgoing tide proved to be the ticket. Moving off the flats into the finger channels there have been plenty of yellow jacks and snappers to fill the moments between casts, yes it's been fun! Here are a few pictures of clients the last seven days but from Paul landing a 10 pound bonefish on fly to James boating solid yellow jacks, it's been awesome! </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; It's been cold with this last week bringing over night temps in the mid to high 40's. That's really cold for Miami and it has been bone chilling for a Miami native like me but we have to fish and the fish have been active! Last week started with Pete and his friend on one day with us generally doing some bone fishing but striking out and the following day with Jake who wanted to catch dinner and slaying the yellow jacks with some solid fish and some snappers. The afternoon trip after Jake was with Steve and his friend for bonefish and again we struck out. So far this week the fishing has ben good all around but bone fishing has been slow. Over the weekend I had Grant for two days of fly fishing whatever would eat a fly and we did well taking shots at a bunch of tarpon and then catching jacks on the first day. The second day we had some tough weather conditions but found even more tarpon and tossed a bunch ion flies but no takes and the fishing that was so good the day before was dead. The last three days of this report brought us the coldest weather of the last two weeks and clients asking for bonefish. This was going to be tough but turns out I found a pocket of water 4 degrees cooler than the surrounding area and the bonefish have been stacked up in there providing for some great trips such as Chad and Nathan going 3 for 5, Jim and Carl going 5 for 7 and Bill and son Wyatt going 3 for 6 and missing a number of more bites through no fault of their own. It's been cold but it's been good!</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicGvjC4GbIa3cj6nRjV0gdDRp3tlE9h6oCqUUeJrbC62GhjOcb74wfydbwR40HTBXiv7iKg24t-vtYNSCe7-ns7ZlvHoZHAr16NNzFUvyvuZNEixMhKVraP9WuGm2JM3woRI7Y8UR4LeyaTf_s1Se-yr-hX_g3JqtpVxRvviRYQPGLpYXDznYVZwPe_BA/s4032/IMG_9756.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicGvjC4GbIa3cj6nRjV0gdDRp3tlE9h6oCqUUeJrbC62GhjOcb74wfydbwR40HTBXiv7iKg24t-vtYNSCe7-ns7ZlvHoZHAr16NNzFUvyvuZNEixMhKVraP9WuGm2JM3woRI7Y8UR4LeyaTf_s1Se-yr-hX_g3JqtpVxRvviRYQPGLpYXDznYVZwPe_BA/s320/IMG_9756.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-yhwAPzJSFGgjrH2f83_Rwj1q7pfQcbVICt4JJ9Xi02D9LswHlwum0UaRFBO77pNjXXsgWPy47UG0MY76ycmf14nyG8qWWQYGWOWyKXZrLpoiYm7T5RWR9-n1AvODTrc3jDuYBjWEAS3vBkEn1_zZUqVTctIcsaFaWdR56mCgWhBE1MC9zk9sLeENUhQ/s4032/IMG_9680.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-yhwAPzJSFGgjrH2f83_Rwj1q7pfQcbVICt4JJ9Xi02D9LswHlwum0UaRFBO77pNjXXsgWPy47UG0MY76ycmf14nyG8qWWQYGWOWyKXZrLpoiYm7T5RWR9-n1AvODTrc3jDuYBjWEAS3vBkEn1_zZUqVTctIcsaFaWdR56mCgWhBE1MC9zk9sLeENUhQ/s320/IMG_9680.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiBLrpx6tiI1N9dRRk3sRK3b8fFHG-AsejVnwd1mRl-QCrdZ11fCkaFIwMJ9qmc2y58U8zFEWfSlDN0PyTurY6UiiswAhavwTxVwED1z5CuiRNCHTo5EsjJH_31lah9X3jMu1K-TJ9Fh434Kgi2NxRs__axp3hrvqkXixVPApI1T6bRwm77QIWpw7erFE/s3024/IMG_9768.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2838" data-original-width="3024" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiBLrpx6tiI1N9dRRk3sRK3b8fFHG-AsejVnwd1mRl-QCrdZ11fCkaFIwMJ9qmc2y58U8zFEWfSlDN0PyTurY6UiiswAhavwTxVwED1z5CuiRNCHTo5EsjJH_31lah9X3jMu1K-TJ9Fh434Kgi2NxRs__axp3hrvqkXixVPApI1T6bRwm77QIWpw7erFE/s320/IMG_9768.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKy_zemJS0Bs6Lki1USTiZzEob43NSVGy4WIXPeIja4lq_nruwmaTUIK6suXi5uhoz1S4ZImcVZNCZn2nPPOF-hPdvhl82ae_7Uh8TVHRTWy4T5omkCs1y20BgiCZQGIIJJwDHdtcJ5yQ1ELSrxaS_rKuDnqrgqWv2QbMhdJ09zuU2H0uxis8eM7U9BXU/s4032/IMG_9719.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKy_zemJS0Bs6Lki1USTiZzEob43NSVGy4WIXPeIja4lq_nruwmaTUIK6suXi5uhoz1S4ZImcVZNCZn2nPPOF-hPdvhl82ae_7Uh8TVHRTWy4T5omkCs1y20BgiCZQGIIJJwDHdtcJ5yQ1ELSrxaS_rKuDnqrgqWv2QbMhdJ09zuU2H0uxis8eM7U9BXU/s320/IMG_9719.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1tgI3v6kbfuqdhoTJXZeBiaD5gNfrJX5HmTEnP4y2Qe_F-28jkyevNQIVx0jM2ux8J4G7W5uzL3qpSer3c97uG5tgTmbOMKqu7mXjAjYYtRXTCowroOtklJrBlVmlPUP9Qph8_mA758hnWAotZD0w0iWpYV-Yikj6q7vKac_S_vihGfsMvHeMafmw6BU/s4032/IMG_9715.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1tgI3v6kbfuqdhoTJXZeBiaD5gNfrJX5HmTEnP4y2Qe_F-28jkyevNQIVx0jM2ux8J4G7W5uzL3qpSer3c97uG5tgTmbOMKqu7mXjAjYYtRXTCowroOtklJrBlVmlPUP9Qph8_mA758hnWAotZD0w0iWpYV-Yikj6q7vKac_S_vihGfsMvHeMafmw6BU/s320/IMG_9715.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><p><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Capt. The rest of the week proved really slow for us as we had a hard time finding bonefish and tarpon in Biscayne Bay. On the last day Mike and I fished, Friday, we went to the Everglades wherein proved to be really slow, heck there weren't even any sharks in Florida bay, how crazy is that! We relaunched to fish the inside of the Everglades and it as still pretty slow with Mike landing a nice trout on fly and his friend Snow releasing three small lemon sharks we sought as a desperate attempt to bend the rods. Things improved back in Biscayne Bay over the weekend as I fished with Mike and Ian on Saturday and Pam and her son Nathaniel on Sunday. On these trips we looked to catch whatever would bend the rod and we found jacks of all sorts, snappers and more breaking the slow curse of the prior week. The balance of the week was a with Tyrone from South Africa and local angler and client Alec. We had a blast these last two days with Tyrone catching a number of species including yellow jacks and landing 4 sharks on the flats. Alec wrapped up the week with nice grouper on soft plastics and monster yellow jacks plus a number of different species we were targeting for a state contest he is fishing. Well, I'm glad the fishing heated up and I'm off to fish another week. Stay tuned!</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3k0AJwwtej2TdJGKnWS8Vh817SVOgu-hkLt1N5RuOJMCxrerCn9IckRgdnyKP6-QnSCdku-m2KdN0ruBDbHvBnvozOxQUAUNKM68JXwvP4sTV9XFTDoCNXY_GrdRsKBXKh-hS6sQlurS9JgjgaosYy620Nt3YcjqXY070yQYRXWbGemmssvioO_28HBc/s4032/IMG_9499.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3k0AJwwtej2TdJGKnWS8Vh817SVOgu-hkLt1N5RuOJMCxrerCn9IckRgdnyKP6-QnSCdku-m2KdN0ruBDbHvBnvozOxQUAUNKM68JXwvP4sTV9XFTDoCNXY_GrdRsKBXKh-hS6sQlurS9JgjgaosYy620Nt3YcjqXY070yQYRXWbGemmssvioO_28HBc/s320/IMG_9499.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv-aHKX3CASTiGYUctRJM7Hpge7rAXneF2E45LjYv2nJGqNz2xLIW294IE0GmN7LjRYBlvCari67Kqpld_EeMHRH488fGs3baF8mVfOZvuXYJHY_gtH0eVUr7Wgl2SWQ8KKitVEIR4G3RqpS0pTthPdvVuhE5DPwhUWgT-zXxfMIuMMXPDU_yBWa6xciA/s4032/IMG_9549.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv-aHKX3CASTiGYUctRJM7Hpge7rAXneF2E45LjYv2nJGqNz2xLIW294IE0GmN7LjRYBlvCari67Kqpld_EeMHRH488fGs3baF8mVfOZvuXYJHY_gtH0eVUr7Wgl2SWQ8KKitVEIR4G3RqpS0pTthPdvVuhE5DPwhUWgT-zXxfMIuMMXPDU_yBWa6xciA/s320/IMG_9549.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBTzrdFNotqweruLR2Eee0rbX1gCgK8vBgoFLl1kTyfmSRVqUiqAwTLO8fQVpMNqSM7Xvrl81XHpRps_LhE04IcMfpFEqAXc8FoRNSanAtD3UruruCZ11RVaMDc2NhCEbpH7BphvAoFbXewI7iayY2gNhcPp9-3exz-X8wOXG-Gsg1VONf-pBQ9FESyfs/s4032/IMG_9596.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBTzrdFNotqweruLR2Eee0rbX1gCgK8vBgoFLl1kTyfmSRVqUiqAwTLO8fQVpMNqSM7Xvrl81XHpRps_LhE04IcMfpFEqAXc8FoRNSanAtD3UruruCZ11RVaMDc2NhCEbpH7BphvAoFbXewI7iayY2gNhcPp9-3exz-X8wOXG-Gsg1VONf-pBQ9FESyfs/s320/IMG_9596.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzNz0NU23F9nD8PIItoCOa61Hxo3e11HzXmQ61XtMJVTmstg08Dcet-tMDZPpdqDBM8pNPfYo4wbo63BX2GEC4tHRWJmFN2WDJQdxfps54BYyGPBZ8Z8sa9wTTLt8d7JuOvFnvYKIDOUmFERjI9E1A8B1DD20dXiATnUDD57pW2uPhkfSKVb9kDXtvBbU/s4032/IMG_9609.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzNz0NU23F9nD8PIItoCOa61Hxo3e11HzXmQ61XtMJVTmstg08Dcet-tMDZPpdqDBM8pNPfYo4wbo63BX2GEC4tHRWJmFN2WDJQdxfps54BYyGPBZ8Z8sa9wTTLt8d7JuOvFnvYKIDOUmFERjI9E1A8B1DD20dXiATnUDD57pW2uPhkfSKVb9kDXtvBbU/s320/IMG_9609.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Capt. February 1-6, 2024<p><span style="font-family: arial;">This week I've been dealing with cold and windy conditions. The average night time temperature has been 48 degrees and it's been blowing about 20 MPH. Yes, tough conditions but the fish have to eat and clients want to fish so here we go!</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">The first couple off days of the month I had Peter and Matthew and for a mixed bag over these two days. With Peter, we fished the finger channels and rocked the yellow jacks and snappers but struck out on bonefish. At one point Peter was hooking fish on almost every cast after we figured out they were staying in a specific corner of the channel. With Matthew we found a bunch of medium sized tarpon and threw flies like crazy at the rolling fish but never got a bite. That's normal for tarpon buy the way. Then the wind laid down and I fished with repeat client David. What a morning with slick calm conditions, no wind and toons of bonefish feeding and moving in the chilly 68 degree water temperatures. After numerous shots at finicky bonefish David hooked three and landed two. Nice! </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">I end this report fishing with Kent and Alex from Texas under some really tough conditions for two days. Day one it rained on us 4 out of the 8 hours but Kent got a solid slob of a bonefish and then we took plenty of shots on fly at lemon sharks and Alex lost one on spin after the shark spit the hook. Then we had Tuesday the 6th. What brutal conditions with 20-25 MPH winds gusting to 30 MPH. But, these guys are crazy and I am down to fish any weather condition so we fished a full day trip. The first spot was dead and then we fished the other only spot we could fish and thankfully this is a mixed bag spot with a surprise built in. The guys started to fish as we could see huge waves crashing over the distant sand bars. One after another the fish starting coming to the boat, yellow jacks, jack crevasse, smaller mutton snappers and then a solid hook up and a screaming drag. I knew what it was but I stayed quite until we saw silver come to the boat, bonefish! This was just the beginning as the riots stayed bent, drags kept screaming and 18 bonefish were landed out of 20 hooked. What?! What a day!!!! This was incredible and the guys were more than happy. As for me, I was ecstatic! Definitely a new record for me best two 16 bonefish trips I've had in the past. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRAX8f1XT10wJ1lYptq767z1J06KKzObHMg6zD3siBSMXWC5B8moY2ek7zSF6A_jMtuqfxr9Y0OsEzlxDIZEv-IYlpaLZXs2ldcuy_G70EaNvVOtmUZCaEb3mZoTXCUoo7xOxF-IcXf4G9mlE-xSo0qjNVAKnBU9-V_8D0eN7vdwKaZDvcY4dmf1Y8ob0/s4032/IMG_9306.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRAX8f1XT10wJ1lYptq767z1J06KKzObHMg6zD3siBSMXWC5B8moY2ek7zSF6A_jMtuqfxr9Y0OsEzlxDIZEv-IYlpaLZXs2ldcuy_G70EaNvVOtmUZCaEb3mZoTXCUoo7xOxF-IcXf4G9mlE-xSo0qjNVAKnBU9-V_8D0eN7vdwKaZDvcY4dmf1Y8ob0/s320/IMG_9306.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv89pU0Da-mYBpkZuE_N_QVDsPSvA_l40f4A2zXVXH2TuLPn0K0Hr0J5l_9NKB5r8Y0mHB5MykvBD31p-GfXBH8ZDdfRdcHyrYiCGNK73FrrMiNsg_7Tgeyj_UFwGksrnBNZDpAzAqeFheVViOWy-cqMYJVt1irt1PNswPfWsJcfKtKu1stcRIY_mN7Ak/s4032/IMG_9350.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv89pU0Da-mYBpkZuE_N_QVDsPSvA_l40f4A2zXVXH2TuLPn0K0Hr0J5l_9NKB5r8Y0mHB5MykvBD31p-GfXBH8ZDdfRdcHyrYiCGNK73FrrMiNsg_7Tgeyj_UFwGksrnBNZDpAzAqeFheVViOWy-cqMYJVt1irt1PNswPfWsJcfKtKu1stcRIY_mN7Ak/s320/IMG_9350.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxhwnbEo1y5wSJkjcP-_XYKrDhw_D9UlO1yIbaaIZS3HhU1z9NZ0QB2-e38bTLxETLL7OfxZkqeXAMMPMt7p3NhlsoeayGUfNoUtv3akf6kcRidM8zfywdB8b0CEhIs6kANwwrdhp56RC8p500SwldEH1zVtf343ZJ9VO_Xf6e5fZVKA14CW_cgwMfIz8/s4032/IMG_9390.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxhwnbEo1y5wSJkjcP-_XYKrDhw_D9UlO1yIbaaIZS3HhU1z9NZ0QB2-e38bTLxETLL7OfxZkqeXAMMPMt7p3NhlsoeayGUfNoUtv3akf6kcRidM8zfywdB8b0CEhIs6kANwwrdhp56RC8p500SwldEH1zVtf343ZJ9VO_Xf6e5fZVKA14CW_cgwMfIz8/s320/IMG_9390.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL93I328Kgkjfe8DcUZM7Zu9-t_NBuIvFFDjvQ99NS5NAlcd3jnzSmXccOiXYWp5XGKRF6pRc3fomMTOqNraRrt4Ww0DnMlBEZ03hGthFBg1kPBN6XKTjV23IHfnh38Xj_23kpF0vPaFw91Unp7r4UyUFSW9DdxOeSWZJgAoo7gL6bpcMeX2Nx3AYCgRA/s4032/IMG_9461.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL93I328Kgkjfe8DcUZM7Zu9-t_NBuIvFFDjvQ99NS5NAlcd3jnzSmXccOiXYWp5XGKRF6pRc3fomMTOqNraRrt4Ww0DnMlBEZ03hGthFBg1kPBN6XKTjV23IHfnh38Xj_23kpF0vPaFw91Unp7r4UyUFSW9DdxOeSWZJgAoo7gL6bpcMeX2Nx3AYCgRA/s320/IMG_9461.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Capt. But, the fish still have to eat ad they did. Most of the trips I had during this time were trips to just catch fish and have a good time and we did. One trip with Walt and Jack was especially windy but we crossed the bay and absolutely killed it with big yellow jacks, snappers and more. At one point it wa fish on every cast for about an hour. Nice! My month ended with Steve for two days and we were fly fishing for bonefish, tarpon, snook, etc... Day one was slow with only a small snook accounted for but day two was much better. right off the bat early morning Steve had a number of shots at tailing bonefish and cruising bonefish in super shallow calm water, not an easy task! We ended the day with tons of shots at mudding bonefish and a nice bonefish released on fly. Way to go Steve! It's been a god month and I expect it to remain solid in February. Stay warm! </span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjdBvD-K6aLZ6GSGcaBrht9AfUcFNJX4XKH0SgmR_SWQCKMKZ7Fgj0vUH7XRYQvlUHGTKIm4T1a7WiaMJSu_Ki_ZR75gW1HjopPTI_Ei1h5AZTmvNwftS3G8gfJd29IBW-3J4auFekunQ2qUFyVpsERPtKnOZ6_E_H_k4bEd-Jp1u2qlZxkiWGRM5Uzio/s4032/IMG_9158.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjdBvD-K6aLZ6GSGcaBrht9AfUcFNJX4XKH0SgmR_SWQCKMKZ7Fgj0vUH7XRYQvlUHGTKIm4T1a7WiaMJSu_Ki_ZR75gW1HjopPTI_Ei1h5AZTmvNwftS3G8gfJd29IBW-3J4auFekunQ2qUFyVpsERPtKnOZ6_E_H_k4bEd-Jp1u2qlZxkiWGRM5Uzio/s320/IMG_9158.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigGKgFXjsJL0Gu_gYiVt9-DJhSTSpvQYJn9GBjiYpaW170IPS4Ibr2r5YZDuw5paIvPJH1c8M97cdeAVQCU_UbjdB2X2P90Lp_tOVPfQOGyIKVHs32gCrYoVb0os1BBWnZfbdlNCmUIBGKEKtAWeWWgYIMGwYNyVRZuVupj1VtaTFewJlZviSt36H-nxs/s4032/IMG_9138.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigGKgFXjsJL0Gu_gYiVt9-DJhSTSpvQYJn9GBjiYpaW170IPS4Ibr2r5YZDuw5paIvPJH1c8M97cdeAVQCU_UbjdB2X2P90Lp_tOVPfQOGyIKVHs32gCrYoVb0os1BBWnZfbdlNCmUIBGKEKtAWeWWgYIMGwYNyVRZuVupj1VtaTFewJlZviSt36H-nxs/s320/IMG_9138.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">Capt. This week I had Chris on one day and then Tony, Michael and Tony's son Andrew to wrapped up the week. The goal on both trips was to catch whatever we could and did well on a number of different species including yellow jacks, jack crevalles, mutton snapper, mangrove snapper and more. While we did try for snook and tarpon, it didn't work out but the other species more than made up for them. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;">I wrapped up the week fishing with Paul and Ron and we stuck to fly fishing only. Again, the weather looked threatening but it was actually pretty nice not being as hot as it's been down here. Fishing a few wrecks in the bay they caught short mutton snappers and grouper on fly before we wrapped up the trip bone fishing. It took a while but we finally found some fish and Paul hooked a nice bone that got him deep into the backing. These were two great guys and a great way to wrap up the week. We're expecting a cold front in the next day or two so there should be some nice weather coming our way. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8vxBsbTjS3sSueIyQ2B_kzSPZThjINjAQa33FzPUFtPy1dAGXRtSEs2rFv22LYkydSXNODW83smYRxMwjwpFrMndrSeSsb5VR-3ej2Tx7019aVQX6CX0qZf2WYvPPtNcHS1BbXAwtP2zvG4yQ2tiRxLiE-GBNVlarSN6pyB85fZFUaPvwMz9R5_2shyY/s4032/IMG_8794.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8vxBsbTjS3sSueIyQ2B_kzSPZThjINjAQa33FzPUFtPy1dAGXRtSEs2rFv22LYkydSXNODW83smYRxMwjwpFrMndrSeSsb5VR-3ej2Tx7019aVQX6CX0qZf2WYvPPtNcHS1BbXAwtP2zvG4yQ2tiRxLiE-GBNVlarSN6pyB85fZFUaPvwMz9R5_2shyY/s320/IMG_8794.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCEfWwBAK97ZmNpO6Gnu3ztul8ALglTBGB4XLvEnCSgpolG3QnLhQNhv6ic5oWJ4IxiI_uSWO9TIXKOJ-VJZxCo1d4psF5-tNE-ppHzMiRCoBjkN6azCKU5Flr0RvibQD1Ii4NXTNI0QoWRMDZSLbRClIwrGm5ZyTmANZ1zvsUQQoNpfJaR3_r2z9xS_I/s4032/IMG_8812.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCEfWwBAK97ZmNpO6Gnu3ztul8ALglTBGB4XLvEnCSgpolG3QnLhQNhv6ic5oWJ4IxiI_uSWO9TIXKOJ-VJZxCo1d4psF5-tNE-ppHzMiRCoBjkN6azCKU5Flr0RvibQD1Ii4NXTNI0QoWRMDZSLbRClIwrGm5ZyTmANZ1zvsUQQoNpfJaR3_r2z9xS_I/s320/IMG_8812.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimXtWoQPfmFc29gOhHdy8Mb6X6geTwZ3kQTBIE-Um-toc9CLES_zfWa3siWpjI6Rl3PV68DZJDyRW7hc31sCTNGwvsVqadjbCwveX9LeAKl4ietXo2iFaf8D311FLIcRso1rSJAA5jgwZ7iSkUMaSHPyWbwcMtUyjOg-apz4uMOBaDJb0zhmkTvlUoknQ/s4032/IMG_8807.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimXtWoQPfmFc29gOhHdy8Mb6X6geTwZ3kQTBIE-Um-toc9CLES_zfWa3siWpjI6Rl3PV68DZJDyRW7hc31sCTNGwvsVqadjbCwveX9LeAKl4ietXo2iFaf8D311FLIcRso1rSJAA5jgwZ7iSkUMaSHPyWbwcMtUyjOg-apz4uMOBaDJb0zhmkTvlUoknQ/s320/IMG_8807.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span><p></p><p><br /></p><p> <span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Capt. It's been windy and cloudy in Miami for the most part this week but fishing has been solid. Most of my trips this week have been with really cool clients that wanted to catch fish and not worry about targeting a specific species. So, this week has been highlighted by tons of hard fighting jacks, sharks, look downs and a monster mutton snapper. The beginning of the week was with Bob and Anna and we caught so many yellow jacks they decided to give something else a try as it was fish on every cast and these hard fighting fish will wear you out quick. Later in the week I had Larry and his two kids and we caught fish at every spot we fished, mainly snappers and big blue runners before they decided to call it early as they had a great time and caught plenty of fish. Friday I had repeat client Jordan and we had a blast catching tons of jacks on live shrimp, lures and top water. It was so cool to watch these aggressive fish blow up top water lures. We tried to look for bonefish but we didn't score. Saturday I had two trips, a 6 hour trip with Subhi and his brother Zaid then a 4 hour trip with Trevor, Clark and Jared. It was a really long day but both trips went really well with both trips catching tons of jacks and then sharks on the flats with Subhi landing a monster mutton snapper before we had to run back. Sunday was the slowest day I had and it was with Travis and Brandon. We were targeting bonefish and anything else. With perfect conditions and slick calm wind the first bonefish spot was dead but a tarpon spot held some small tarpon and we were able to throw some flies at them. Then Travis caught the first sea trout I've seen in Biscayne Bay in a while. Cool! At another spot we missed a few bonefish bites and as the weather worsted the rest of the trips a tale of running to places trying to make something happen to no avail. Not the way I wanted to wrap up an otherwise awesome week but I guess we can't win them all. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicpIZRuoNJXFYFA9V4whYuiUYo-WWsYR-8ZCbb2ZNZ6nFMVO2pgoatPrRgwKTKeF9wiFwT7f7524viFoqBs7gMZwVRd3fmOzxfxlzasN7xau159uNziIxuOEUiNA1bYkQ9yLNyJGAnvTY2RyP0plf_T4U0mDkeNaAb-ln7mLaFV1Dmr6BkQLqAaYpXdTw/s3847/IMG_8600.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2164" data-original-width="3847" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicpIZRuoNJXFYFA9V4whYuiUYo-WWsYR-8ZCbb2ZNZ6nFMVO2pgoatPrRgwKTKeF9wiFwT7f7524viFoqBs7gMZwVRd3fmOzxfxlzasN7xau159uNziIxuOEUiNA1bYkQ9yLNyJGAnvTY2RyP0plf_T4U0mDkeNaAb-ln7mLaFV1Dmr6BkQLqAaYpXdTw/s320/IMG_8600.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPBHORmySkxwQsm7euprv-EAisqOayQEUjfhzFQLpkzmuau89CH3hn1T0NAKSaDkC3p78zrZVIOtydXcqn00Zw3yM-ZEIllH-2d967GGySmyQKiBfTGiHo9BJoonO8C9GbPl6RKaPlu8oYNBnsqo_MjRZADMKxSRE1C03__xHvNuZdw6V9lqdpl0sVwC4/s4032/IMG_8611.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPBHORmySkxwQsm7euprv-EAisqOayQEUjfhzFQLpkzmuau89CH3hn1T0NAKSaDkC3p78zrZVIOtydXcqn00Zw3yM-ZEIllH-2d967GGySmyQKiBfTGiHo9BJoonO8C9GbPl6RKaPlu8oYNBnsqo_MjRZADMKxSRE1C03__xHvNuZdw6V9lqdpl0sVwC4/s320/IMG_8611.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeD6DbaxMxQla52TRay051lF8HEKsv67OiXVKpIR3bJdiAueRSRIq-f4ZH7zKaCUFZ4H1s6tIllaharQ0R4UUjmIxtgRN6bFIavLNPCalS5lPQnPFJBEbq2PgoS8MlPtuO2xWhtgcDJ14CG0XF4W1kmXAi85SNC85t-F4S74Kyp6SfhkkvFEj1tPMkC9E/s4032/IMG_8621.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeD6DbaxMxQla52TRay051lF8HEKsv67OiXVKpIR3bJdiAueRSRIq-f4ZH7zKaCUFZ4H1s6tIllaharQ0R4UUjmIxtgRN6bFIavLNPCalS5lPQnPFJBEbq2PgoS8MlPtuO2xWhtgcDJ14CG0XF4W1kmXAi85SNC85t-F4S74Kyp6SfhkkvFEj1tPMkC9E/s320/IMG_8621.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD0fXZDJ4TvR1XfzaT96abS9EwgerKICmmoQ_-Hpd0vZ4e_B3vRpHnxLIwAISSYPxG3jpHSqwjUs2B78A4xLQTqmNyKmfv63SNvPI5DiwE1uxA763OKO1iH4z8DkN_hjrzNVgMkVCoi6Faa0SZc6peQHP_oVyxZjqxxzH4ZmjRDHXmxuxnLGqZ-ftm91c/s4032/IMG_8616.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD0fXZDJ4TvR1XfzaT96abS9EwgerKICmmoQ_-Hpd0vZ4e_B3vRpHnxLIwAISSYPxG3jpHSqwjUs2B78A4xLQTqmNyKmfv63SNvPI5DiwE1uxA763OKO1iH4z8DkN_hjrzNVgMkVCoi6Faa0SZc6peQHP_oVyxZjqxxzH4ZmjRDHXmxuxnLGqZ-ftm91c/s320/IMG_8616.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: large;">Capt. The last two weeks of the December have been really, really good with just about anything we want to catch being caught. This second half of the month I was absolutely swamped with trips and I can't recall one trip that was slow with one surprising exception. The one exception was Scott and his son Logan, where we had absolutely perfect conditions for bonefish, tarpon, permit, snook and anything else you can imagine and yet it was an absolute wasteland with nothing around. </span></p><p class="p1" style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: medium;">However, with that being the exception fishing has been on fire the second half of December. To emphasize this point, on December 29 I fished with repeat client Kevin and we did really well on a number of different species and wrapped it up landing a really nice bonefish as we targeted them for the last hour of the trip. And then to ring in the new year on December 31 I had David and Kevin, a different Kevin, and we got what they wanted, bonefish and mutton snappers. What an awesome second half of the month it's been! Happy new year, everyone!</span></p><p class="p2" style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span class="s2" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"></span></span></p><p class="p3" style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span class="s2" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihRZH9Ch-Lcj2m39diMZIFkN2_k196J1CFA-TgBHkgL1EayliGqYBEALQp2fwCxS-OdRNzWLAxcx3BcCLgW-w6z8GFVhL0NnzL-ovs9woH4OZIKXqdnLCHqwfcxDNGkj0tUvuMHR2T-Fu5GPzn9cpCU5Bf3ZkZkc56BVyuJ_rImYD0FV-wgW-IB366TPQ/s1800/0A58FF85-3DDD-448E-A106-F40DFF7F2F98.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1800" data-original-width="1440" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihRZH9Ch-Lcj2m39diMZIFkN2_k196J1CFA-TgBHkgL1EayliGqYBEALQp2fwCxS-OdRNzWLAxcx3BcCLgW-w6z8GFVhL0NnzL-ovs9woH4OZIKXqdnLCHqwfcxDNGkj0tUvuMHR2T-Fu5GPzn9cpCU5Bf3ZkZkc56BVyuJ_rImYD0FV-wgW-IB366TPQ/s320/0A58FF85-3DDD-448E-A106-F40DFF7F2F98.jpeg" width="256" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipr8gG_BVGD29mv0-9dr-jwOCz3CubfxRK3xuoeO0CoVCWmtZIBOriamNVR2KF5RfLFclMrlLOw2ZnLgitceCzJ8GG3NFBihJbm4_lK8kaFfh4KXnuZ1rwVddypNl-l7ivF9J1Rr4uhpszuTmiwmcFwVDyEVoK5-cNfN_wjGCtN0kZqBEQkq5StAkVvt8/s2835/5676DE89-77FA-4CC9-BE21-1C31A3DFC681.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2835" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipr8gG_BVGD29mv0-9dr-jwOCz3CubfxRK3xuoeO0CoVCWmtZIBOriamNVR2KF5RfLFclMrlLOw2ZnLgitceCzJ8GG3NFBihJbm4_lK8kaFfh4KXnuZ1rwVddypNl-l7ivF9J1Rr4uhpszuTmiwmcFwVDyEVoK5-cNfN_wjGCtN0kZqBEQkq5StAkVvt8/s320/5676DE89-77FA-4CC9-BE21-1C31A3DFC681.jpeg" width="256" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHVXMy2PTNhof7m3LiswSdzPyDPkvAmDx_6og3pmKdSCtk4SMvklQpDMuxZrkJm9RX0fUXVOeMALAx_bIAc3okHq4t0jGpnaDmHD0avEBS5YcUKOj6y6gAsA_zvUCgcmz82sWej7UadoH_tFPYiROas4aKxNOrmJIUFehI4Gsqt9NMmhZVa5j4VrDIAUg/s1800/542428B6-EF37-4201-9C27-033F23B21583.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1800" data-original-width="1440" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHVXMy2PTNhof7m3LiswSdzPyDPkvAmDx_6og3pmKdSCtk4SMvklQpDMuxZrkJm9RX0fUXVOeMALAx_bIAc3okHq4t0jGpnaDmHD0avEBS5YcUKOj6y6gAsA_zvUCgcmz82sWej7UadoH_tFPYiROas4aKxNOrmJIUFehI4Gsqt9NMmhZVa5j4VrDIAUg/s320/542428B6-EF37-4201-9C27-033F23B21583.jpeg" width="256" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZhfe3mcAh7fY13kN5kkrsk7ZakBZUyq2_rgacPcBeo_ZdGpLgyyb8OUWqMLj6PZnk2QpoJ-Vi1U5gKMBAMct6PG0XcjHqjMTDfxdWYTIA9WOZ8Stwb4Gh9UT8wf-jkqDpBu2g9J8ryn5cyzjVrjekC3m57zCA0-ih7xmxbd34SaCcXXw6yZkE0i2DndY/s4032/IMG_8336.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZhfe3mcAh7fY13kN5kkrsk7ZakBZUyq2_rgacPcBeo_ZdGpLgyyb8OUWqMLj6PZnk2QpoJ-Vi1U5gKMBAMct6PG0XcjHqjMTDfxdWYTIA9WOZ8Stwb4Gh9UT8wf-jkqDpBu2g9J8ryn5cyzjVrjekC3m57zCA0-ih7xmxbd34SaCcXXw6yZkE0i2DndY/s320/IMG_8336.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-size: medium;"><br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /></span><p></p><p class="p3" style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span class="s2" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></span></p><div dir="ltr" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Capt. In one stretch towards the end of the first half of December we got rain for almost 6 days in a row. However, in between the tough weather I was able to get out with some clients and it was actually better than you would have thought. Most of my trips in the first half of December were pretty cool trips just catching whatever would bite and it usually worked out with a variety of snappers and jacks and a few missed opportunities with snook and tarpon. I did have one trip with regular client Ted on fly and spin and it was a brutal eight hours of silence out in Biscayne Bay. I can't wait for this weather to revert back to the typical nice weather we get in December!</span></span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiusNCCyh65tQP0QFm00kUsCAvFbHCQslmaiYvViFZweyPTJOsR1-2U-9dL52NMaglN4ZEUnvzAOk9eogMzs1jRzch_iVX815zZFfyWq-k6DVpkYs2ekzbcz75q0oSD6TcD7JFWBOsqkjxMBbnVMjc3R_jid-crXmHkARgnFFpRd769k2PCwqoCn1SO_PU/s4032/IMG_8379.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiusNCCyh65tQP0QFm00kUsCAvFbHCQslmaiYvViFZweyPTJOsR1-2U-9dL52NMaglN4ZEUnvzAOk9eogMzs1jRzch_iVX815zZFfyWq-k6DVpkYs2ekzbcz75q0oSD6TcD7JFWBOsqkjxMBbnVMjc3R_jid-crXmHkARgnFFpRd769k2PCwqoCn1SO_PU/s320/IMG_8379.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGPB8ACypP9lbEqUeQyuGt85HiD4xupaj2CPnVMkIB0UXnS_kyz0hONbjsscoNlTtENtacDGSQ3reoounxNIGPq5eTslbmlXsbqjeaoYUC3IVt3vktuFaKi8zMDHJGtXqKWCpeKDBaq_BEmH-zKioXBNIPBPc-CbeuLW6Oq7lu1e0p2OdgCi6_XF5LIME/s4032/IMG_8501.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGPB8ACypP9lbEqUeQyuGt85HiD4xupaj2CPnVMkIB0UXnS_kyz0hONbjsscoNlTtENtacDGSQ3reoounxNIGPq5eTslbmlXsbqjeaoYUC3IVt3vktuFaKi8zMDHJGtXqKWCpeKDBaq_BEmH-zKioXBNIPBPc-CbeuLW6Oq7lu1e0p2OdgCi6_XF5LIME/s320/IMG_8501.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQoBVBG3DwUBKpj-Z6zFjVqemVxPhrYHmEswMX_Nx2vhLmGe4nphWvBGLzJveM7iJ4GmLCHtOr4mmY8XVKNTW34Z8u0yQW0XYm04cNY7M7s-tck8iZ637a7ZL2XTYRiWfrHVQXxRThxwN_av1dyvEPzd904PXhPIIb7H62xFcK_2YccW0AVt1HHcGvYBw/s4032/IMG_8502.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQoBVBG3DwUBKpj-Z6zFjVqemVxPhrYHmEswMX_Nx2vhLmGe4nphWvBGLzJveM7iJ4GmLCHtOr4mmY8XVKNTW34Z8u0yQW0XYm04cNY7M7s-tck8iZ637a7ZL2XTYRiWfrHVQXxRThxwN_av1dyvEPzd904PXhPIIb7H62xFcK_2YccW0AVt1HHcGvYBw/s320/IMG_8502.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5Eg6pujDm4sTp0MJVfbC5HatZ9GrCg8v36cJ11qHuSeZa8CCWaLMtz0lbcyZb6J2IA2XJGaIeM5KhY9K2W3R4wEte7QmGEXjzQBZ5mEup7a8aA5jcCGw8nfjAWS5qjMMT6jh5WDJxNc2twqWfSJJ4RnvLyrghTm-EIMrqYgCUGODD0YdHv8lw_sOv6K0/s4032/IMG_8213.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5Eg6pujDm4sTp0MJVfbC5HatZ9GrCg8v36cJ11qHuSeZa8CCWaLMtz0lbcyZb6J2IA2XJGaIeM5KhY9K2W3R4wEte7QmGEXjzQBZ5mEup7a8aA5jcCGw8nfjAWS5qjMMT6jh5WDJxNc2twqWfSJJ4RnvLyrghTm-EIMrqYgCUGODD0YdHv8lw_sOv6K0/s320/IMG_8213.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Capt. In Monday I had Nathan from East central Florida. He's been fishing with me for about 5 years now and dang it every time we fish either the weather stinks or the fishing is dead. Well, today the weather was great and with the moon phase I swore the Bonefishing would be on fire. Did you catch that? Anyway, it wasn't. We had a shot at tailing permit to start the morning and then silence for a while until we went Oceanside and fished the shoreline of an island that usually produces if not for the shear amount of water we can cover. Here Nathan had a few shots at bonefish crossing along the shore and they wouldn't eat. Then he spotted a single fish over rocks and reef. I poled him into position and he laid the fly just perfect, for a tiny barracuda to eat it in front of the bonefish. No! Then the little cuda jumps off, the fly drops and Nathan strips. That bonefish rushed the fly and ate it 15' from the boat. It was awesome and that was our first fish in 5-6 trips. Wow what a relief. Later on we fished another flat that has been producing at the end of the tide and sure enough they were there, just one school not the numerous schools I've been seeing but Nathan stuck a nice tailing bonefish before the end of the trip. It was awesome!!! Whew, now Nathan and I can concentrate on fishing since our curse is over. </p><p class="p2" style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span class="s2" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"></span><br style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;" /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhujK8ge_1N2v4G_P2YT4YpiwcVuMj4eRKr95EUl2uLSA3rEVcgsm28OJ9uKeF1MRbYsY34HIw3sK8AnX0CgEx5VJgSXObxedpgSfRNi35Qec7TuCQfc31m064LU0TUxAFw11ZbnXgYxCZSC9poWaWG4K0gCDrG6HCAA4fryLMY0mZSzZUVrZBlk7gkmhk/s3948/IMG_8002.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3948" data-original-width="2221" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhujK8ge_1N2v4G_P2YT4YpiwcVuMj4eRKr95EUl2uLSA3rEVcgsm28OJ9uKeF1MRbYsY34HIw3sK8AnX0CgEx5VJgSXObxedpgSfRNi35Qec7TuCQfc31m064LU0TUxAFw11ZbnXgYxCZSC9poWaWG4K0gCDrG6HCAA4fryLMY0mZSzZUVrZBlk7gkmhk/s320/IMG_8002.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><p class="p3" style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px;"><span class="s2" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">On the last day of the month I fished with Supin and his parents neither of them had ever fished before. I had regular client, David and his friend Clay on Sunday for a six hour trip fly fishing for bonefish tarpon permit, and then a four hour trip in the afternoon with another regular client Mike . The morning had us finding a few tarpon which we had some shots at on fly and then losing two bonefish before heading in picking up Mike and focusing on bonefish. inexplicably the same spots that I fished with David and Clay and yielded two bonefish, ended up, proving a bonanza for Mike as he hooked six and landed four. The Following day Monday through Wednesday, Mike and I would fish full days. The first two days were in Biscayne Bay and Monday I looked for live pilchards, blacked out the well and live chummed channels. This was a blast as we watched yellow jacks exploding on the Bait and Mike casting to the schools and hooking up almost instantly on some of his casts. Tuesday was a bit slower thanks to some nasty wind so we decided Wednesday on our last day to fish flamingo in the Everglades. This was a blast as Mike had a ton of shots at redfish riding on top of stingrays and then I took him to the interior of the Everglades. He had not fished this area before, and he absolutely loved it, especially since we fished the mouth of a small creek at the beginning and at the end of our trip inside the Everglades and hooking snook and Tarpon Pretty consistently. At one point he was hooking little tarpon on every third or fifth cast and some snook miked in as well. It was awesome and a blast. Friday after Thanksgiving I fished with David again and today was better as we started off with some shots at permit, and he hooked a tarpon briefly before the jump caused the leader to wrap around the gill plate and cut us off. After my six hour trip with David I was back out again with regular longtime client Ken and his two kids for a four hour trip. We had to fish in the rain for a while but eventually it cleared and the kids had a blast, catching snappers and jacks and blue runners. We tried to bonefish a little bit at the beginning of the trip as we waited for the storms to pass, and although we didn’t hook any bonefish, they caught two big Mojarras which they found pretty exciting. Kids are so funny. The end of the week had me fishing with Paul and we found some fun yellow jacks and big blue runners at first to start the day. Then our hunt for Tarpon and snook proved to be futile, but we wrapped up the day on the flats fishing for bonefish, and found quite a few schools of mudding bonefish. Paul made some good casts but missed the bite on one and got broken off by another bonefish before we headed back in. Wow it’s been a crazy week but the fishing has been a ton of fun. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.</span></p><div dir="ltr" style="font-family: arial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3hr4wyOVb60h0yKR-pCv-Pfahzp96XZq03Ym59J338SFhgoTOjwHUgfQZU-s7oq-i0uxniilAaPc5Sy9Imv-SNbJ3gbz1oSHEoLFeIi2zZxG7KX_beFDGt7hxcDnTF0VQ0bVwh0NbmXI1VmVBROTqgu9-Qz_9W8NzlMNaCEbFNesKrXr9jg6PeGkcYb8/s4032/IMG_7793.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3hr4wyOVb60h0yKR-pCv-Pfahzp96XZq03Ym59J338SFhgoTOjwHUgfQZU-s7oq-i0uxniilAaPc5Sy9Imv-SNbJ3gbz1oSHEoLFeIi2zZxG7KX_beFDGt7hxcDnTF0VQ0bVwh0NbmXI1VmVBROTqgu9-Qz_9W8NzlMNaCEbFNesKrXr9jg6PeGkcYb8/s320/IMG_7793.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL_tULG71rkLUn14ZJ1p0ivip7sD55G_dhopRrcz3Bs9AJu1-Zgh3Rk2qSv44YznVUBJow9aKOtKlb3rA6D2sIWkqr7neV1cYYm8C3nfNG4bWLVgn593k_PwWj7-hhiP1DUJGmNiyAmpjiWddzc8Wywwes1v0jeIxAjetitUmxs9igpPUm8ZZAZpXFudk/s4032/IMG_7865.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL_tULG71rkLUn14ZJ1p0ivip7sD55G_dhopRrcz3Bs9AJu1-Zgh3Rk2qSv44YznVUBJow9aKOtKlb3rA6D2sIWkqr7neV1cYYm8C3nfNG4bWLVgn593k_PwWj7-hhiP1DUJGmNiyAmpjiWddzc8Wywwes1v0jeIxAjetitUmxs9igpPUm8ZZAZpXFudk/s320/IMG_7865.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="background-color: white;"><br /></span></div><div dir="ltr" style="font-family: arial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="background-color: white;"><br /></span></div><div dir="ltr" style="font-family: arial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="background-color: white;"><br /></span></div><div dir="ltr" style="font-family: arial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"><span style="background-color: white;">Capt. My week started off with Victor and his wife from Ukraine and the goal was to catch a few fish for dinner which we quickly did catching fun yellow jacks and tasty snappers. Then we switched off and fished the flats for sharks where we hooked up three or four sharks and Victor was thoroughly impressed with the speed and power of lemon sharks in 2 feet of Clearwater. Then I had Benji, Arman and Riley, and it was another fun day of just bending rods and catching a lot of fish. Riley had never caught a fish before and pretty soon she had outfished the boys. Way to go, girl! My bonefish trip was with regular client Ralph, which fishes with me every year right before Thanksgiving and it was a slow start but eventually Ralph caught a 3 pound bonefish and then quickly upgrade it to a much nicer fish to wrap up our quick four hour morning trip. This week has been a lot of fun with a mixed bag of species and fishing being solid all the way around. </span></span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6B52UfirtWiqPXrJ143mlRA-dW2D3rnoQqYkGPGt43pVaglzMzOA0EQvExkRMCQNMrb-Da0_y3btTPygvXcKDPXDwHu2Q-aZCVxaR0yYOR7eMefmHr6Vu6yu8m-T9aL4WuO3_nEsi3_LqcX8PjuyN5omQF1Ke1TGg5uji7qoIxwgOME27RLkvHEOgfLw/s4032/IMG_7779.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6B52UfirtWiqPXrJ143mlRA-dW2D3rnoQqYkGPGt43pVaglzMzOA0EQvExkRMCQNMrb-Da0_y3btTPygvXcKDPXDwHu2Q-aZCVxaR0yYOR7eMefmHr6Vu6yu8m-T9aL4WuO3_nEsi3_LqcX8PjuyN5omQF1Ke1TGg5uji7qoIxwgOME27RLkvHEOgfLw/s320/IMG_7779.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br class="Apple-interchange-newline" /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Capt. Thankfully I had Rob from Boston who brought his fly rod and wanted to target bonefish and permit. Conditions were way off for permit so we focused on bonefish. The first spot was dead and I started to get a bit anxious hoping it would be a good day. Spot two was actually pretty good with Rob quickly landing two smaller bonefish on fly. As I poled him around we could see the puffs on the bottom from bonefish we were spooking out but couldn't see due to very high water levels and a bit of overcast conditions. eventually we saw another school and Rob snipe one out of the school. We're up to three bonefish at this point. The fishing slowed down and we fished another flat where ti was dead. As soon as I started to consider moving on I saw a big single bone, then a school and then a few more. The schools were moving pretty consistently and eventually rob got another three on this flat bringing our total to 6 before we headed in. Six Miami bonefish on fly, ha, I'll take that every day! </span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCb7GNQQNueqrROVJRu4uAyhwPevOnNtc78gTgF94pRJGo_ZZ0yrmcdD6nq6sXMttRCHVg8n_lUEti1sSq5Vt0KeEmhLhLUzMPt1n771QViOdhOJYoFCjY43KXK-fskdWuezNEf_tephARZ96aftdNON0PbMdppZwiheBbOGCzkGhD8N9PpLJ_gEtWSv4/s4032/IMG_7634.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCb7GNQQNueqrROVJRu4uAyhwPevOnNtc78gTgF94pRJGo_ZZ0yrmcdD6nq6sXMttRCHVg8n_lUEti1sSq5Vt0KeEmhLhLUzMPt1n771QViOdhOJYoFCjY43KXK-fskdWuezNEf_tephARZ96aftdNON0PbMdppZwiheBbOGCzkGhD8N9PpLJ_gEtWSv4/w380-h214/IMG_7634.jpeg" width="380" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Capt. November 4, 2023<p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">What a start and not for the good as I fished today with two awesome guys, Stephen and Rob. They wanted to fish for bonefish but there was constant drizzle and the sky was a thick grey. We took off and fished a spot I like and my hopes were up as we had the perfect tide and it was out of the increasing 15 MPH wind. Ha, what do I know! This spot was dead and only a few bonefish could be seen in the distant as they swam in water that was still way too deep for the tide stage we were at. OK, off to the next spot. This spot usually produces but man it was slow for a while, no fish, no muds, no flashes, nothing. Until finally the bones started to swim through at the end of the outgoing tide and are were able to hook 3 and land two, one for each of the guys. Close call but not bad considering the terrible conditions. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBWJuxRAKxykhCha5vLL3SGQT7XdhiYnRYW1YIq1ONm7AEY5dcVj06uYUsuv3Fa9fUJ-8jfTPKqGO3djsYP1VQTyzZ6ni8WGxVowW_HqJgIPph1_97RM2zV19ShNtFNXUx5z_PIl2NVFS2sHYT1piO1MVgKKRUhv5kulyQ1c8kyOVtCMzc9E0kUOkydRY/s4032/IMG_7550.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBWJuxRAKxykhCha5vLL3SGQT7XdhiYnRYW1YIq1ONm7AEY5dcVj06uYUsuv3Fa9fUJ-8jfTPKqGO3djsYP1VQTyzZ6ni8WGxVowW_HqJgIPph1_97RM2zV19ShNtFNXUx5z_PIl2NVFS2sHYT1piO1MVgKKRUhv5kulyQ1c8kyOVtCMzc9E0kUOkydRY/s320/IMG_7550.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd9gyRX3arQZdGpGp3Yllp2SYtEsAYVdUfL1o4MmXQNny3svX08eREEQGl-dbwEocBdfw7yKtxOaxyetWrHOnGsI4L_7csF2zzBjV1Fyqp6f6fbAhC5v8FjuLvtzOc-FcwoeaQKNSh5pyPTs7fQgtH7da7u83N73rZPfm6T3tS7SqG2GfNtFGe3HI6bik/s4032/IMG_7561.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd9gyRX3arQZdGpGp3Yllp2SYtEsAYVdUfL1o4MmXQNny3svX08eREEQGl-dbwEocBdfw7yKtxOaxyetWrHOnGsI4L_7csF2zzBjV1Fyqp6f6fbAhC5v8FjuLvtzOc-FcwoeaQKNSh5pyPTs7fQgtH7da7u83N73rZPfm6T3tS7SqG2GfNtFGe3HI6bik/s320/IMG_7561.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Capt. The bulk of what I was booked for was just catching fish so we did just that but we had to pick our spots due to the wind. The tides were almost well over two feet above normal due to the king tide plus an hard east wind filling the bay with even more water. On two trips we did target bonefish and snook and while we did get a few bites on each, there were no hook ups or landed fish to brag about. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">On Halloween I fished with local angler and long time client Alec for a full day. We finally had perfect fall weather and a good tide but still at least 2 feet above normal. We worked quickly through the incoming tide and had shots at small tarpon, saw some bonefish and had a couple of snook bites before looking for pilchards (bait). the finger channels were really hard to fish because of the unusually strong current so we found bait, I loaded up the well and hit a few spots to live chum mutton snappers and yellow jacks. We found a few yellow jacks but no muttons. We wrapped up our trip live chumming for snook and had one hit but ended up catching a nice mangrove snapper instead before we headed back to clean fish for dinner. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhreIx0RUYo9XsvFhzw12OPM_8_gBHkclOH73u_ppb2bbdhJOujB_NtJd4Ity_eEoThWSrzREI2308dU6hMx2VwedH3uYsN3xT0kGsqHxixiyoMaNsAvdcR0CweQ_P7kZxW5gRRfYoDKTVgSsqtvbQlIoH6DT5bz3m9utIr0-RDdPgORXhl5RuYEWhFNB4/s4032/IMG_7472.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhreIx0RUYo9XsvFhzw12OPM_8_gBHkclOH73u_ppb2bbdhJOujB_NtJd4Ity_eEoThWSrzREI2308dU6hMx2VwedH3uYsN3xT0kGsqHxixiyoMaNsAvdcR0CweQ_P7kZxW5gRRfYoDKTVgSsqtvbQlIoH6DT5bz3m9utIr0-RDdPgORXhl5RuYEWhFNB4/s320/IMG_7472.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYHZldrp3rI3vfje_-Ed5xgoCEBktlwBPkUHzryOy_6FFnUY3sKztxSeaSagAIvuNdPntgeTWv5F7LFwe1rynKQIF1PQoJJ_O5mAX7U5mig6pmfP4K9-NgcG0dHtlEa7QmlnnB4IvnbYzECn1u7dNLSRDfe3ZRfIXkx3o86alAIzQEQ-B7bjmd74Jr-p8/s4032/IMG_7486.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYHZldrp3rI3vfje_-Ed5xgoCEBktlwBPkUHzryOy_6FFnUY3sKztxSeaSagAIvuNdPntgeTWv5F7LFwe1rynKQIF1PQoJJ_O5mAX7U5mig6pmfP4K9-NgcG0dHtlEa7QmlnnB4IvnbYzECn1u7dNLSRDfe3ZRfIXkx3o86alAIzQEQ-B7bjmd74Jr-p8/s320/IMG_7486.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Capt. October 18, 2023<p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">I had Barry again today and we started off fishing for small tarpon but didn't hook any of them. Actually, we barely saw any of them, go figure! Fishing a creek we did find snook where Barry landed one but lost three others when the snook would jump and spit the hook. A few other times Barry had snook hit the lure right next to the boat and we could see their big mouths wide open trying to eat the lure, so cool! We wrapped it up bone fishing where there were tons of bonefish swimming and we ended up hooking three and landing one. With the amount of fish we saw we should have done better but it is what it is. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWdhcOYqUOqFudQmUlp522sU83BVnfSZU5VbhnfPjou3xiYevFlF963qROL8tE6QgkuhG9UxWdrOu4aSYQruwTMOt6TzkxEynctcRrWzrX92BxqcjiMfXQJIqljtjwkAl8vSag0-LHfyo_rteb8b4gdHZhJcCcdGippDrKNtHF9Gh-Z_pp78B43PMJhN0/s4032/IMG_7359.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2268" data-original-width="4032" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWdhcOYqUOqFudQmUlp522sU83BVnfSZU5VbhnfPjou3xiYevFlF963qROL8tE6QgkuhG9UxWdrOu4aSYQruwTMOt6TzkxEynctcRrWzrX92BxqcjiMfXQJIqljtjwkAl8vSag0-LHfyo_rteb8b4gdHZhJcCcdGippDrKNtHF9Gh-Z_pp78B43PMJhN0/s320/IMG_7359.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Capt. October 16, 2023<p>This morning I fished with Jake for a 6 hour charter. Last time we fished Jan caught 11 bonefish! Today we were looking for permit and some dinner. The weather was perfect as it usually is in October and off we went. The schools of migrating mullet were getting crushed we so made a detour and threw top water lures at the schools trying to land some snook but we ended up catching a nice jack instead. We moved of for permit and they were MIA in spite of great conditions. Off to tarpon where Jake had four tarpon blow up his top water and finally hooked one that got right next to the boat before spitting the hook. Time to look for pilchards and get dinner but the pilchards were also MIA so we used live shrimp and caught yellow jacks and snapper. Wrapping it up we targeted bonefish and in 45 minutes Jake caught three bonefish. Dang, that's a nice day!</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYcBo-p1EnKIKYmjoH2rWRUyDtqgGseS5O2e6nnRr4Lv9mv_G9sjCKiqnOKGIMLqfoSzgZ9g-rvPWpcCapLB7xg4gfG1qHN7dJWO1G4zBlrEXLWwozARTeU8OHOMeuI6pbiqqouI88VpAj0yeSfipXLJ6hP3nmGFQJ5itlu8Og5mfHdraKyn73NIqEfws/s3840/IMG_7309.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3840" data-original-width="2160" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYcBo-p1EnKIKYmjoH2rWRUyDtqgGseS5O2e6nnRr4Lv9mv_G9sjCKiqnOKGIMLqfoSzgZ9g-rvPWpcCapLB7xg4gfG1qHN7dJWO1G4zBlrEXLWwozARTeU8OHOMeuI6pbiqqouI88VpAj0yeSfipXLJ6hP3nmGFQJ5itlu8Og5mfHdraKyn73NIqEfws/s320/IMG_7309.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJ-ei0nFLSS8cWLuTnxXwxVifdJpttFXyaKfsP7dgb2_9w440l5O19RO0diy9sAYVcikWYGi0oZLm0Auhvk4cFVxMP_qT1hDpbya1Dh0Wm4AdBJrQ2DP7MbQGKU-4zVgVj0yLqMYCtlnBaQL2-yzZbSmt3AhuiodSAgdrxxsW2uEA2c3dBthLeIC0IWpg/s4032/IMG_7328.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJ-ei0nFLSS8cWLuTnxXwxVifdJpttFXyaKfsP7dgb2_9w440l5O19RO0diy9sAYVcikWYGi0oZLm0Auhvk4cFVxMP_qT1hDpbya1Dh0Wm4AdBJrQ2DP7MbQGKU-4zVgVj0yLqMYCtlnBaQL2-yzZbSmt3AhuiodSAgdrxxsW2uEA2c3dBthLeIC0IWpg/s320/IMG_7328.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /> <p></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Capt. The trips ranged from a guy's drinking trip with fishing rods to hunting down bonefish and permit. The fishing has been solid the first week of October with the following going on:</p><p>Out of The Ocean Reef Club my guys were here to drink and maybe fish and in the process they caught plenty of snappers and jacks and lost three bonefish along the way. The following day Barry caught his first bonefish in a long time and had tons of shots at early morning permit. My afternoon trip the same day was with Arman and his two friends and they loaded up on fish dinner with school master snappers and yellow jacks. Wrapping up my week before I went on vacation I was with Jeff and his two boys and although they didn't land any snook, they did hook tarpon and then got worn out catching jacks and a number of different species. It was a good week!</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtck4F_W2J8KEGpMs_UfEO3GjvhOebTdW86C8Nnv_4zizWpZa8mNcMXJzG4U6Rw6ELsbTSzvRkNt53Y87IsE_16FXMiqhynEAxNVB_QQGbLaR1rjqyYUzhJJT8sYIv9tBgjda9HKu-8HfBhR0HWsPySJjVvj3S8SknEoVnniCNJoD7c1v0gDcVGHHbrwk/s640/image2.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="360" data-original-width="640" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtck4F_W2J8KEGpMs_UfEO3GjvhOebTdW86C8Nnv_4zizWpZa8mNcMXJzG4U6Rw6ELsbTSzvRkNt53Y87IsE_16FXMiqhynEAxNVB_QQGbLaR1rjqyYUzhJJT8sYIv9tBgjda9HKu-8HfBhR0HWsPySJjVvj3S8SknEoVnniCNJoD7c1v0gDcVGHHbrwk/s320/image2.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Capt. September 30, 2023<p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">I wrapped up the month with three great guys, Edward, Gustavo and Samuel from Texas. They wanted to catch anything and have a great time. Samuel started off by hooking a high flying tarpon but it came off. We struggled to get lots of action so we went shark fishing and the guys all hooked up. Arman likes to catch dinner but conditions were right for a surprise so I took him to where we could accomplish both. We had a steady stream of bent rods catching snappers and he quickly got his fill of fish dinner until his rod went off in a weird way. Ha, I knew it. After a nice fight he had his first bonefish to the boat and we ended up hoking two more. Nice!</span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaUp9gxXVEl1u0QZh3skRDfpmZ8hqRr7NAO1Fk8U6J-0blIVAny9mwF_O4ScSjTmb8rhX-f86sK0R5pAxgZhbXTqMcCwotRYE2KAfJI55wj7vI5Cqcs2daWsq7Na7wSbyBRnmhCglmbD0CpGdc2GeerefVTczHSrxWmKD2rZqZeO0UeNuSZg9nFDSKxL0/s2252/8890752E-73D2-4ECA-928F-45044CF5ACC3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2252" data-original-width="2252" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaUp9gxXVEl1u0QZh3skRDfpmZ8hqRr7NAO1Fk8U6J-0blIVAny9mwF_O4ScSjTmb8rhX-f86sK0R5pAxgZhbXTqMcCwotRYE2KAfJI55wj7vI5Cqcs2daWsq7Na7wSbyBRnmhCglmbD0CpGdc2GeerefVTczHSrxWmKD2rZqZeO0UeNuSZg9nFDSKxL0/s320/8890752E-73D2-4ECA-928F-45044CF5ACC3.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Capt. September 9, 2023<p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Aaron a few days before I headed off on vacation. It is definitely starting to feel like fall with a bit cooler weather and less humidity plus signs of a few schools of mullet moving around. I love it! Anyway, Aaron was armed with a fly rod and we got some shots at bones and eventually hooked up and landed a nice bonefish. The half day trip went by so fast and before we knew it we had to head back. I love fall! </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQA3nizf20yzyCFNHbnjFKeYh86XxEn3v8mK05H1xAbmBx2yhsUdEJUvKOPLP_DWOzC3KHsfSwauZZY5IuQGByQ-QR16-ItdYnY17UDXE2vjjnyh2n3n8KobHtNkytpuT32Si_6T7vqHQ-YtO9xwYu49EcXkyeTJNOFEojl0xWcFnD5MvytRWcAeq-G3A/s4032/IMG_5797.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="2268" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQA3nizf20yzyCFNHbnjFKeYh86XxEn3v8mK05H1xAbmBx2yhsUdEJUvKOPLP_DWOzC3KHsfSwauZZY5IuQGByQ-QR16-ItdYnY17UDXE2vjjnyh2n3n8KobHtNkytpuT32Si_6T7vqHQ-YtO9xwYu49EcXkyeTJNOFEojl0xWcFnD5MvytRWcAeq-G3A/s320/IMG_5797.jpeg" width="180" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Capt. September 4-8, 2023<p><span style="font-family: arial;">I had the pleasure of fishing with Ron from Arizona for four days. The plan was for Ron to catch his first bonefish and realize a dream of his after a friend told him how special bonefish were. Well, we spent four days bone fishing and it worked out pretty well. Using a combination of live shrimp on a split shot and live shrimp on a jig to cover more ground as we worked areas I knew they travel in, Ron worked it. The first two days were tough with each day providing one bonefish per day. Great, he got one but we really needed more. Days two and three were a bast with Ron getting a combined 4 bonefish and a permit on the last two days. so, final tally was 10 bonefish and a permit in four days of fishing. Ron said he was well pleased. I am too Ron! </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyg785hWu8A_gNaaDz_xj-IvLouklF7XQ7AtsiQ25eJMVtgrHWVDFXqKnV5u7Eb80gVFNi7ce2KZphJca58vnTTeOIu-MXMIfO5GaCrMFPMPJn2vZMAYtxWmbHkvt10kZwqnqct4hq_cymhwCnuryHN9-bkLtrr1hwYhcpqBrK-1aXvjwxqbbXVuH8u-A/s4032/IMG_5657.HEIC" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyg785hWu8A_gNaaDz_xj-IvLouklF7XQ7AtsiQ25eJMVtgrHWVDFXqKnV5u7Eb80gVFNi7ce2KZphJca58vnTTeOIu-MXMIfO5GaCrMFPMPJn2vZMAYtxWmbHkvt10kZwqnqct4hq_cymhwCnuryHN9-bkLtrr1hwYhcpqBrK-1aXvjwxqbbXVuH8u-A/s320/IMG_5657.HEIC" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2F6UAbzzGAOLpOMk7rYCdpMQ0F2vnBQkUYk2L6HVdinw0Qj5bCZn3QHRiBnQYpXhDgWHtJarJCc-OqtVkXucAcevzEASL0svDwXltT-1ZXHl2JIMCJc5M9fmj8wdZX8uVsEpzuO3gZ-DZR_yBmOmPFciHd-DkK2mE5vfb7KmOTV0x1wqbR9HGg_b6jCA/s4032/IMG_5743.HEIC" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2F6UAbzzGAOLpOMk7rYCdpMQ0F2vnBQkUYk2L6HVdinw0Qj5bCZn3QHRiBnQYpXhDgWHtJarJCc-OqtVkXucAcevzEASL0svDwXltT-1ZXHl2JIMCJc5M9fmj8wdZX8uVsEpzuO3gZ-DZR_yBmOmPFciHd-DkK2mE5vfb7KmOTV0x1wqbR9HGg_b6jCA/s320/IMG_5743.HEIC" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span><p></p><p><br /></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Capt.
