I couldn't have a funnier and better 3 guys today with David, his son "Brother" and his cousin, all from Texas. We fished 6 hours and had a blast. They caught about 8 different species and while there were no snook coming to the boat we did get into some Tarpon and Brother lost a snook. Capt. New transplant from Canada and friend/client David was aboard today with his friend Ashok. Ashok had never caught a shark so that was on the list. After catching some bait, we hit the shark flats and Ashok quick got 3 sharks to the boat.

Fishing picked up today as I fished with Pat who was in town for a conference. We still had tough wind but the winds were in the 20-25 MPH range. Bonefishing was out of the question but there were plenty of other species at or disposal. Capt. Mo Estevez www.MiamiBoneFishing.com 786-853-1409 Follow me on Instagram @MiamiBoneFishing

Chris is a regular local client of mine and although we fished in his 28' Grady White today, we couldn't have picked a worst day. 30 mph winds were brutal making fishing slow. Although we caught some fish, nothing significant came to the boat but he did take home fresh snapper dinner.

October 30, 2016 Report

Today was the last day fishing with Alain and his boys and the weather forecast was wrong as usual. Today was another day in which we faced 20 MPH winds that increased to 25 MPH and a steady stream of rain squalls that had 40 MPH winds. No worries, remember these guys are hardcore. After catching bait we set up on the flats for more shark fishing. The number of sharks decreased but their sizes increased. The ones we got to the boat today were all in the 5' plus range and had to be chased otherwise they would have spooled us. In the interim we had a steady stream of rain squalls with 40 MPH winds. Tough conditions but we got the sharks these guys wanted and we got back safe.

October 29, 2016 Report

Day 3 with Alain and his boys and I thought conditions were tough yesterday. Geeze, I should've stayed quiet. Today we faced a steady 30 MPH wind and constant showers. We had a few squalls sweep through with 40 MPH winds but again, the fishing remained good. We hooked up almost immediately and the action was slower than yesterday but steady. The highlight was Alain landing a big lemon shark, one of his goals for this trip.
