March 25. 2017 Report

Alain is a regular client and he brought his son and brother Jean to brave some tough conditions. We caught some bait and hit the flats for sharks where they hooked 7 and landed 1. Unfortunately every time Jean touched a rod the shark would come off. The only shark landed was by Ethan. Sorry Jean!

March 22, 2017 AM & PM Reports

AM Report Joe and his wife Carol boarded wanting to bonefish. Turns out my poling platform broke on the run to the flats so we chummed for bones unsuccessfully and I risked life and limb poling a bit. They had a couple of shots at bones and a tailing permit but no hook ups. We ended up on a wreck where Carol out fished Joe. Sorry Joe! PM Report Charles and his son jumped on and we sped off to take advantage of great Tarpon conditions. We found a ton of fish but They had lock jaw so we hit the grass flats and They caught a ton of trout. Nice work guys!

March 20, 2017 AM & PM Reports

AM Report Rich and his wife boarded and off to Tarpon fishing we went. Its been a slow Tarpon season so far and after two hours with only one bite wife says "let's go catch fish!". I couldn't argue with that so we caught some trout before dropping then off at South beach.
PM Report Jeff and his two boys boarded at the right time Today because as soon as the tide turned the fishing picked up. They caught trout, mutton snapper, hog fish, bar jacks and sharks. Nice way to end the day!

March 17, 2017 AM & PM Reports

AM Report My morning trip was with 14 year old Fletcher. We started Tarpon fishing but soon the patience required for Tarpon wore on Fletcher so we focused on shark fishing. Well, that was on fire and Fletcher had his hands full hooking 3 sharks and landing 2 in an hour and a half. And, he never one complained!
PM Eitel and I have fished several times but today was the first time the weather allowed us to even finish our trip. The fishing was definitely slower in the afternoon but we focused on trout and landed a bunch and hooked even more.

March 16, 2015 AM & PM Reports

AM Report Andy and little Andy joined me again Today and we had a blast as usual. While we didn't hook any tarpon we landed a nice shark at the end of the trip and catching a few other species.
PM Report Chris was my afternoon trip along with his wife and we focused on the grass flats where they caught a number of trout and played around with a manatee.

March 15, 2017 Report

Today I had regular client Steve along with his son and grandson. No fly fishing today so we hit a bunch of spots and tallied fish along the way but the day ended with a bang as the fishing picked up and we lost a couple of really nice fish and landed a nice shark.

March 14, 2017 Report

Today was Just one of those days! Randy and his son boarded and we had Tarpon on our minds. Hitting the beach off South beach we concentrated our efforts there and a dark veil descended upon us. We ended getting 5 Tarpon bites and hooking two fish in two hours but never landing one. What's up with that? Capt.
