September 22, 2017 Fishing Reports

September has certainly been a trying month with hurricanes and Sloat business because of the hurricane and it's aftermath. However things are starting to pick up and today Amir and mark from Houston join me for half day of fishing while their wives were at a conference. Thankfully these guys homes were spared the floods and made it out just fine. With some live pictures in the Life wall I headed off to the beach to look for the mullet migration in hopes of cast netting some and enjoying some Tarpon action but there no mullet to be found off the beach so we fish and other spot where there were tons of big jacks and some carpet. After having our fill of jacks a school of mullet move through but the tarpon wouldn't even look at them. What is that all about?! We went back out towards the beach looking for sharks and although I marked if you didn't get any fights so we wrapped it up over grassflat where we had to cut it short and speed back in while run a massive rainstorm that cut our trip short. All in all we had a nice day and only made it back about 15 minutes early. Capt. Mo Estevez www.MiamiBoneFishing.com 786-853-1409 Follow me on Instagram @MiamiBoneFishing
