July 1, 2018 Report (Near disaster with trophy fish on, video)

What a way to start off the month with Randy and Michelle from Iowa on board. They wanted to catch sharks and then mix it up so we ran straight to the flats and avoided the Sunday crowds being completely alone on the pristine flats. Maybe 10 to 15 minutes after setting up Michelle's rod doubles over and she gets her first shark of the day being just the right size for her and getting some cool pictures and video out of it. We waited and had some nice big sharks come right in to the boat, the coolest thing was the really calm conditions so you can see their dorsal fins and wakes moving towards the boat. However, a few of them moved through and never ate our bait but one of them finally did and after a long fight Randy soaked in sweat landed a hundred plus pounder to complete the couples goal. We tried to fish barracudas but. We wrapped up the morning with Randy landing a very big mutton snapper! Congratulations guys! Capt.
