April 20, 2014 Report

Tom and Cal were on board today for fishing the flats for the big three (bonefish, tarpon and permit). Last time we fished Cal landed a 10lb bonefish so we were ready for part two. We had some great conditions today and had shots at all three. We started fishing the leeward side of a key and found a few bones but no hook ups. Moving a bit south a string of south bound migrating tarpon pop up and one breaks the school to chase Cal's shrimp but refuses to eat at the last minutes. The day ended with us taking shots at a few more bones, permit and strings of tarpon but they weren't eating well today. Capt. Mo Estevez www.MiamiBoneFishing.com
