Bau and his dad Henry are locals and sold their boat 20 years ago but they wanted to try some bonefishing. We had a challenge today in that the bait shop did not have shrimp so we hit the flats using artificial shrimp. We had tough conditions with high water, poor visibility and breezy so we hit a spot which typically produces and I can get away with some cover and really shallow water in order to negate some of the conditions. We saw 3 schools of bonefish and had 1 eat but did not get hooked. We ended the day catching some really nice snapper and Henry really enjoyed that! Capt.
