February 5, 2019 Report (Bonefish on fly video)

It's been a couple of years since I fished with Maria from CT but she was back in town and we headed out with flyrod in hand. She had some early morning shots at bonefish and redfish and then caught grouper, sennets and other fun stuff over a shallow shipwreck, but things were going to change. With perfect conditions and a great tide I told her we would hunt bonefish and she was up for it. After a few flats and plenty of shots at bonefish and permit she got the perfect cast to the perfect school and strip, strip, strip, "I'm on!" as the fly rod bent and the line started screaming out.
