Welcome back everyone to my monthly report. It's been a crazy busy month as I've been on the water almost every day and the last half of the month we've had absolutely perfect weather. However, the fishing has been up and down. In spite of some struggles we've been able to make it happen on most of the trips beginning with my trip with Barry during a cold front. The snook fishing was pretty slow, but we were able to capitalize on some bonefish. Then I fished with Chris for bonefish on fly and once again it was pretty slow, but we were able to score on spin towards the end of the trip. The balance of my trips were with different clients using fly or spin. On some trips we focused on just catching a lot of different fun species while others we focused on either snook or bonefish. We've had to work for the fish we have caught so far this month and for some strange reason most of November the weather was pretty crummy and the fishing was good, but once the weather got perfect as it typically is in November the fishing started to become inconsistent. We just had a cold front move through so I expect the water temperatures to drop and more fun species to move in during the month of December. It's been a solid month and I expect December to be pretty fun with bonefish, snook, tarpon, mutton snappers, yellow jacks, and grouper as the grouper start to move in shallow off the reef.
