The month of October has provided solid fishing and tons of mullet migrating south getting snook and tarpon very excited and willing to take top water lures. However, the month of October proved to be warmer than usual and the pilchards that should be flooding the bay never did show up as of this month. To make up for the lack of pilchards, bonefish, snook and juvenile tarpon have been on a tear and willing to eat very consistently. It's been a great month with really good fishing and hopefully this first cold front will get things heated up even more.
