Phil and his wife Michelle are local anglers and joined me early this morning for bonefish and permit fishing. The conditions couldn't be better with a clear windless morning and an early morning low tide. Throughout the morning we had a half dozen shots at permit, both cruising and tailing as well as 4-5 shots at big schools of redfish and a few shots at bonefish. There was decent action although slower than anticipated but all in all we had some good shots. However, Phil and Michelle were great to have aboard and when they left I felt like I had known them for years. I look forward to fishing with them again soon. Capt.
