February 20, 2017 AM & PM Reports

AM Report Well, after working at the Miami Boat Show for four days I was ready to hit the water and regular client Arthur jumped aboard with his assistant Angie. Working the tide we fished a permit spot that produced a big margate for Angie. Over the grassflats they both caught a bunch of trout in short order so we ran down to a wreck where they caught bar jacks, trigger fish, snapper and blue runners (shark bait). Jumping onto the flats they had some shots at bonefish but didn't manage to hook up.

PM Report My afternoon report was also with regular clients Guillaume and Jessica. Avoiding the boat show traffic we ran south to a wreck we had all to ourselves and kept the rods bent on a number of species. Hitting the flats for bones and sharks we found few of either but they landed a massive stingray that kept us busy for almost an hour. Whewww. Time for a nap!
