It's been a good month with excellent fishing and then a nice long vacation before my season gets cranking and I have no time off. So far this second half of the month there have been small tarpon willing to eat flies, bonefishing has been pretty good and snook have been around but thought o entice out of the mangroves. This month we've had big king tides which are tides much higher than normal. This has caused the snook to push up into the mangroves much deeper than normal where we can't reach them. Even the low tides haven't been that low making snook fishing tough therefore I've been bypassing snook for now. However, there has been tons of bait out in the bay making for some really cool live chumming fishing that is hard to pass up. Here are some pics of the last couple of weeks. November is one of my favorite months so expect some great reports and pics this coming month. Happy Halloween!
