I fished with Anthony and Michael today on a quick half day trip. We stayed close to the marina and had a blast catching a bunch of different species on lures and then sped back to the ramp after having given tarpon fishing a quick try. Capt. I was back on David's boat today and Steve was the man of the hour and with some significant wind we decided to go shallow in his 32' Intrepid and catch some trout and bluefish. We ended the day hooking several sharks when the tide turned and kept the rods bent. Capt. Mo Estevez www.MiamiBoneFishing.com 786-853-1409 Follow me on Instagram @MiamiBoneFishing

Ken and Sherry are from Michigan and were in town for a week. Although I really wanted to get them a tarpon, a late season cold front pushed all the tarpon out for a few days and I had to go to my back up plan. We did a tour of Biscayne Bay starting out in Key Biscayne and ending up on the flats in south Biscayne Bay. We had a great time, they caught a ton of fish and the weather could not have been better! These guys were a blast today with dad George and his two sons, Jordan and Blake. Blake was playing hurt having his finger in a splint but we still gave him grief for losing a bunch of fish. Eventually he caught up and the guys caught a ton of trout, bluefish, jacks, ladyfish and then we hit the flats. On the flats we targeted sharks and barracudas and while we hooked four sharks we landed one and had a bunch of shots sight casting barracudas.

AM Today I had two trips in my first one was with John, Lauren and Nick from Ohio. I thought it was cold yesterday morning but Teddy was worth with the air temperature at 48° even my photos from Ohio or cold. We decided to do the best we could with the cold in the wind we had so we pulled up to a grass flat and using only lures absolutely wore the fish out. Lauren started off a little shaky with her Casting a fishing but she made a great comeback and had an excellent day.
PM In the afternoon I had David and Joseph. We had a good time so we hit a couple of spots for Tarpon and permit but didn't see any so back to the grass Flats where we kept the rods bent and the lures in fishes mouth.

Rob was back on board today with fly rod in hand. We had some tough conditions although we had great visibility the water temperatures were pretty low after the cold front that swept through a couple days ago. However we hit the flash for Bonefish on fly and while there weren't many fish around each flat had at least three or four big fish in the 9 to 12 pound range. We had great shots all day but fly fishing for Bonefish is fly fishing for Bonefish so we had a few tracks and a few looks but no takers today. Capt. Pete brought his sons Vic and Leo aboard for a quick morning trip. I only had two fish one spot in that spot was on fire with the boys catching their fill of fish and Pete going over 5 on Tarpon. It was so frustrating we could see the tarpon come up eat and then spit the hook before we had a chance to come tide on them. All in all it was a great morning and these guys rock!
