July 29, 2014 Report

Key Largo was the site of our efforts today as I had local angler Richard for a fun day on the water. We waited for over an hour for storms to pass but as soon as they did, conditions were clear and slick calm. Oh, and HOT! We got into snook in 12 inches of water but could not get a bite. A few reds pushed wakes towards us but accurate casts were ignored. We fished hard and released several nice sized jacks on artificials and bait. Fishing was tough and the water temps were 90 degrees!
