Going strickly with Fly gear, Scott hoped aboard and grabbed the 12wt. This would be the rod he would throw at the tarpon that were all around us but unfortunately they refused to eat a fly today and by the looks of it, we weren't the only ones. Heading to the flats we poled around and although the action was slower than I would have liked, we did get some shots at bonefish and a couple of permit but no commits to the fly. Capt.
