April 11, 2016 Report
On board today for some fly-fishing was Gary and of course we started off looking for tarpon. We found a few rolling but they would not eat during the time that we fished them so after about an hour we decided to change it up and in part to get away from the increasing wind. We fished a few other spots and ended up at a shipwreck where oddly enough the fish refused to eat a fly but were gobbling up bait. Landing a number of fish and keeping a few of the smaller ones for bait we ended the trip at a shark spot where one of the live baits didn't last long in the presence of a nice spinner shark. After about a 20-minute fight Gary got his first shark to the boat and gave him quite a fight.
