March 4, 2020 AM & PM Report
AM Report
My morning was day two with David and Marcia and with the air temperature rising the water temps were now 73 degrees. After checking out a few spots we hit the mother load of tarpon in a calm warmer spot. They were all over the place rolling, finning, floating and occasionally eating something. The last 45 minutes of the trip was dedicated to these fish as David cast a fly and drifted a live bait for them. Well, no bites!!!! URGH!!!
PM Report
My after trip was with Hasaan, Noah and Sammy. These guys fish with me every year and the goal is always to keep the little kids busy. So, I took them to a finger channel and the boys wore themselves out. Then, we went back to the morning tarpon spot and they were still there but thinning out as the tide began to slack. We did get a bite but the fish never got hooked. Come on!
