Doug and Rochelle have fished with me plenty before so we were at it on our annual fishing trip. We started just bending rods on some wrecks to get Rochelle some action before bonefishing. After catching some snappers and bluerunners the tide was right and off we went. Getting to the flat we started our bonefishing and it was slow at first but then these bones started moving in and we missed a bite, then another school and we miss two bites on what could have been a double header. Come on bonefish! Then three big bones move in and Rochelle hooks up and the bonefish starts ripping line. I could tell it was an 8-9lb fish but after the long run the bonefish started to settle down and the hook pulled. Ouch! I had a hard time sleeping tonight.
