I closed out June today with Bill whose is a regular client of mine from North Carolina. With fly rod in hand today was actually a great day. Our first flat of the morning was slick calm and it was absolutely infested with permit. Bill had shots at tailing permit, cruising permit, floating permit and then dimpling permit along with shots at a few schools of Bonefish. When the action died down I decided to cross the bay and fish the shoreline and that held a decent number of fish as well and we wrapped up the day back on the ocean side flats where Bill had shots at another group or two of Bonefish and big single permit and several strings of big Tarpon migrating back North.
