I had a double today and my first trip was with Jim and Brad for bonefish on fly. We started off with unusually calm conditions for March and had some shots at bonefish on fly with a couple of them being 10 pounders tailing in front of us. Oooohh! Not hooking up and running our of time we hit a wreck where the guys bent some rods on snappers and jacks.
The afternoon trip was with regular long time client Marco from Italy and his girl friend Marta. They were great and a ton of fun. I took them to a wreck, caught bait and hit the flats for sharks where Marco caught two sharks and Marta caught one after we lost a huge lemon shark on our first hook up.
