Sometimes the weather is too perfect and Steve and I learned that today. We began tarpon fishing in typical May conditions, slick calm, no wind, clear water and hundreds of tarpon all around us. However, with the clear water the tarpon weren't feeding and swimming under the boat taunting us. Moving on to snook Steve hooked a couple but lost them so off to the flats where he had some good shots at bonefish and permit on fly.
