Day two of back to back trips and today I had Tim, Mike and Conner with the goal of making sure ten year old Conner caught plenty of fish and had a great time. OK, it's fall that should be easy. I went to a spot that has been holding pilchards (bait fish) and threw the net a few times catching enough to black out the live well. With more than enough bait we hit a ship wreck in 8 feet of water and I began to live chum. Ha, it took 12 seconds for the predators to begin destroying the live chum and from them on it was on! The guys and Conner caught plenty of fish including mutton snappers, grouper, mangrove snappers, yellow jacks and more but Conner was the star of the trip as he caught the grouper and biggest yellow jack. Nice work Conner!
