August 2, 2014 Report
Tim and his two sons climbed aboard this morning for a half day of fun on the bay. We went straight to doing a little bonefishing and Caden quickly hooked up to a nice fish but just as quickly lost it to a cut off. We went off to a channel and the snappers were THICK. We had small snappers and bigger fish in the 2-3 lb range right behind the boat along with two black groupers in the 20lb class sitting on the bottom reaping the benefits of our chum slick. We did catch some but non of the bigger fish. Calm crystal clear water makes for tough fishing in these situations. We ended the day shark fishing but didn't have any commit.
