Local angler Gary and his two sons, Jake and Adam boarded today for some shark fishing on the flats. We get to the first spot and immediately see a shark move in and Jake hooks up and lands the first shark of the day. The area is getting hot when a boat runs right over our chum slick and scares everything behind the boat. Urgh! We move to another area and it's slow but we get one bite, the rod doubles over and before the reel starts to scream the rod whips back. The shark cut us off. NO! We ended the day in a creek that produces tons of snapper for me and while it was slow, we did land some fish.
