October 10, 2015 Report

Joey, Sam and Ruben wanted to check out Biscayne Bay for a half day and what a gorgeous morning it was! Snook fishing was first on the agenda but we had an extremely high tide that kept the snook deep in the mangroves and bait was scare in all three locations but we did find some mullet at the last stop for shark fishing later. Having to work with shrimp we stopped off at an inshore wreck and cleaned out the shrimp in the well cathing a variety of species. The morning highlight was watching and filming about 6 pods of dolphins playing very close to the boat including coming right up to the GoPro and giving us a really cool encounter. On the flats shark fishing things were slow but we did get two hook ups that after a while we realized were large stingrays. Ouch!
