October 7, 2015 Report
David jumped aboard again and I really wanted to get him on some snook. Poling in to one of my favorite snook creeks revealed something unsettling, really high water and still pouring in when the tide should have been going out. This meant the snook were deep into the mangroves and we could hear them feeding out of reach. I cast netted some live pilchards and headed to a grouper spot where David caught some fish while we gave time for the tide to turn. A few hours later we went back to the creeks but the water was still too high. We live baited for a bit without success for snook.
