September 30, 2015 Report

Sean and his dad Bob are from Colorado and wanted to fly fish Biscayne Bay for bones, tarpon and permit. I got them on the water before 6:30 AM while it was still dark and as we pull in to the first flat the dead calm conditions revealed schools of mullet being absolutely decimated by snook. Focus Mo, focus! Poling down the shoreline we had some great shots at schools of bonefish but didn't hook up. The water was moving in much quicker than normal due to the super moon this week and so the window was brief at this spot. The rest of the trip was slow with too much water in most places and when we did have visibility there wasn't much around. We ended the day with some shots at tarpon. Capt.
