Keeping the Fly Rod Bent and a Surprise December 14, 2020

Today my client was Tom with the goal to fly fish and catch different species.  With great bonefish conditions we committed a few hours and had some shots but no hook ups.  From there we fished a few wrecks where Tom caught a bunch of species, especially fun and hard fighting yellow jacks on fly.  These fish were so hyped up they were crushing his fly on the surface and devouring gurglers.  Nice!  As an added bonus, there was a goliath grouper on the wreck, I've never seen one on these wrecks before.  Pretty cool but concerning because once they move in they devour everything.
