College freshman Cameron jumped aboard this morning for a quick trip in Biscayne Bay. The morning tarpon were missing but we used jigs and caught of number of different species before wrapping up the day tarpon fishing. As the trip wound down we finally found some tarpon and they were rolling and happy. Problem. There was a significant storm building with lighting and thunder. As we began to get right on them the lighting started and it was time to make a decision, fish in lighting or play it smart. We played it smart and had to cut the trip 30 minutes short to avoid the nasty storm now over us. What a shame!
