May 23, 2016 Report

Wow, today was one of those days that required me to take a deep breath and pause for a minute. The fishing was absolutely on fire today and it reminded me of late fall and winter time in Miami. Fishing the mullet schools making their way back North on their late spring migration we had an absolute blast. Our first spot was for Tarpon and Danny, Pano and Michael were aboard but could not enjoy the Silver rage of a tarpon on the other end of the line. The last time we fished together everybody caught Bonefish except for Pano so Bonefish was on the list but the skies were overcast and cloudy and certainly not conducive to Bonefish so we changed it up. That turned out to be the ticket as we were able to enjoy a steady stream of bent rods screaming drags and fish to the side of the boat. We caught Snapper, Jacks, Bluefish, trout and Lady fish at a pace that was absolutely breathtaking. At one point we had several triple headers! We ended the day fishing a different spot where they were able to catch more species including Triggerfish, Hogfish and red grouper. Today was absolutely a blast and I always love fishing with these guys!
