May 26, 2016 Report (Tarpon video!)

Day 3 with Jerry and Roger and I know that I'm already going to miss these guys in my skiff. We repeated the same steps as yesterday but this time Roger was able to hook about a hundred and fifty pound Tarpon that gave us a couple of jumps and a long blistering run of over a hundred yards. After chasing the fish and recovering all that line we were able to get a leader release within 7 Minutes of hookup. Absolutely incredible! The rest of the fight to get it next to the boat was another 20 minutes and then we released it and watched it swim away with its pride wounded but healthy otherwise. We wrapped up the day catching sea trout.
