Another two "fer" February 19, 2021

Another double today with my morning trip being with Jan and Candace from Atlanta.  These were great people and so good to hang out with them.  This was a mix of fishing, sight seeing and hanging out.  Even still Jan caught ladyfish, three species of snapper, three species of jacks and in the end he said he caught more fish than he ever has in his life.  Nice!  We did have to cut it short by about 20 minutes to avoid a rain storm that was headed right for us.

In the afternoon I had regular client Brad on board and his daughter Madelyn.  I hadn't seen Madelyn since she was 9 and now she is 15, time flies!  This was such a fun trip!  Brad always likes to fly fish but with 25 MPH winds it was be almost impossible.  So, jig and shrimp would make it really fun and productive.  Madelyn had the fish of the trip with a nice grouper and Brad got a cool african pompano.  When the dust settled they had caught about 13 different species and had a ton of fish to the boat.  Awesome!  Now it's time to relax for the next two days as we have 20-30 MPH winds.
