Sometimes you just have to commit and Ralph was not afraid to commit to bonefish today. The forecast was wrong, again and when we met at the ramp it was pretty windy from the east. I decided to run from Homestead south to almost north Key Largo and fish the flats that provided some cover. Fishing the area we found quite a few schools of mudding bonefish but throwing a fly was tough in the wind. We wrapped up the day at another spot where the bonefish were few and far between. Sometimes you just have to commit. In the process Ralph and I found we had tons in common and I definitely look forward to fishing with his again.
